Artist manager and talent agent, Peter Meyer has been reported dead. He died after a long battle with sarcoma. His death occurred on May 14, 2023, in his Los Angeles home. He was 68 years old.

Born on May 11, 1955, Peter Meyer was hired as a talent manager in 1978 after training under William Morris Agency (WMA) agent Stan Kamen. This was after attending Harvard School, where he played varsity soccer and ruby. He also attended Yale University and was a Scholar of the House – his senior thesis in college was dubbed MGM and the Studio System in the Age of Mass Production.
Meyer managed several actors like Tom Hanks, Kevin Costner, Sterling Hayden, Kathleen Turner, Christopher Walken, Steve Guttenberg, David Hasselhoff, and more.
He spent 11 years at WMA and moved on to launch his own firm called Meyer Management in 1990. The purpose of it was to represent directors, writers, producers, and authors, selling their work and facilitating their employment across all entertainment platforms.

At some point in his career, Meyer was the representative of quite a good number of actors for several movies. Some of them include Michael Sloan and Eldridge (The Equalizer), Jeffrey Reiner (Friday Night Lights), Joel Nova (Cobra Kai), J. T. Allen (The Lion King), Roger Frappier (The Power of the Dog), Deric Washburn (The Deer Hunter), and more.
He was survived by his sister, Patricia K. Meyer, son Chris Meyer, and wife Anna Maria Meyer.
