Broadway actor turned-photographer, Michael Lamont’s real net worth at the time of death is not known yet, however, considering that he worked for numerous production companies before his passing, it is believed that he had an estimated net worth of around $1 million before he died.

He died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on June 5, 2023, at age 76. He was survived by his wife, Kay Cole, whom he had married for 35 years.

Lamont worked for numerous production houses and institutions including The Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Deaf West Theatre, Colony Theatre, East West Players, NoHo Arts Center, Reprise, Getty Villa, Shakespeare Festival/L.A, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

Before that, he was a Broadway actor who started performing at the very young age of 13. His first performance on Broadway was Bye Bye Birdie in 1960. He performed in two other productions – Oliver! Do I Hear a Waltz?, and The Royal Hunt of the Sun – before he moved to photography full-time.
