American Broadway actor and photographer, Michael Lamont did not really star in any movie, however, during the early stages of his career in the entertainment industry, he performed in a few Broadway productions. Some of them include Bye Bye Birdie (1960), Oliver! Do I Hear a Waltz?, The Royal Hunt of the Sun, and more.

Lamont died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on June 5, 2023, at age 76. He was survived by his wife, Kay Cole, whom he had married for 35 years.

He transitioned fully into photography after a friend asked him to photograph his headshots. He did a few gigs and started getting offers from several production houses.
Lamont had quite an impressive portfolio – working for numerous productions companies such as The Geffen Playhouse, The Old Globe, Pasadena Playhouse, McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Deaf West Theatre, Colony Theatre, East West Players, NoHo Arts Center, Reprise, Getty Villa, Shakespeare Festival/L.A, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.
He described photography with so much passion that it makes it understandable that he fell in love with the craft and never looked back at acting.
