Anna Shay was a Russian-Japanese reality tv star who became famous after joining the members of the Bling Empire. She starred in the show’s inaugural season on Netflix in 2021.

Her source of wealth was questioned several times whiles she was on the show. Shay once share that she was not expecting to be successful from the show.
“I wasn’t even expecting to be in front of the camera. I’m very shy and I went along with whatever situation was happening. I was just being me,” she said.
Kane Lim once shared that Shay’s money came from selling weapons, but she retorted quickly.

“I asked him, ‘Why did you say my dad was in arms?’ He goes, ‘I don’t know.’ He thought he knew, but maybe he didn’t know and was just guessing,” Shay shared.
She died at the age of 62 after suffering from a stroke, according to an official statement released by her family.
“It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, has passed away at the early age of 62 from a stroke. Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the finer things. Her impact on our lives will forever be missed but never forgotten,” the statement read.
