Arnold Palmer was an American professional golfer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.

Arnold and his first wife, Winnie Palmer, had two daughters, Peggy and Amy, who were born two years apart and were married for 45 years.

Peggy is married to North Carolina native Peter Wears. Amy Saunders is married to Roy Saunders. They are in charge of the Latrobe Country Club and the Bay Hill Club.

Amy’s son Samuel Saunders is a Professional Golfer. Samuel Saunders has been a pro golfer since 1996. Saunders participates in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club every year, which his parents run and grandfather owned.

Arnold Palmer’s professional career spanned from the 1950s to the 2000s, during which he achieved numerous notable accomplishments. He won a total of 62 professional tournaments on the PGA Tour, including seven major championships.

His major victories consist of four Masters Tournament titles (1958, 1960, 1962, 1964), two Open Championships (British Open) (1961, 1962), and one U.S. Open (1960).  Arnold Palmer passed away on September 25, 2016, leaving a lasting legacy as a golfing legend, sports icon, and ambassador of the game.
