Agya Koo, a veteran Ghanaian actor, and film producer, has set social media on fire after a video of his massive and complicated Kumasi mansion was posted online.

The popular actor is seen going around the ash-colored mansion as a tour guide to promote the remote-gated building in the film, which has since gone viral.
Agya Koo apparently outdoored the mansion to commemorate his 54th birthday, which he celebrated on May 25.

On social media, Agya Koo’s mansion has received both admiration and condemnation.

While most social media users praised him for his achievement, others chastised him for “spending money” on an “outdated design.”

Others also claimed that he was able to afford the mansion because of his affiliation to with the ruling government.

Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, is a Ghanaian actor and comedian who was born on May 25, 1969 in the Ashanti Region of Ghana but grew up in the Accra Newtown suburb of Asantewaa.
Almost 200 Ghanaian films have included him, including Obaatanpa, Away Bus, Black Star, and Ma Tricki Wo.
He was discovered at the National Theater in Accra, where he worked as a comic warming up the audience before the main drama was produced, on a Ghanaian comedy show on GTV (Ghana National Television).
Agya Koo’s climb is a classic grass-to-grace tale. Before being discovered, he worked in menial professions such as cobbler.
