Craig Gibson Folbigg was the husband of Kathleen Folbigg. They were married in 1987, but their marriage came into shambles after the death of their fourth and last child in 2001.

Craig contributed heavily to the investigations and provided the authorities with the diary of his wife Kathleen. According to the prosecutors, the diary contained detailed information about the thoughts of a mother tortured by guilt for her role in her children’s deaths.

However, there was no concrete evidence against her after examination of the babies’ bodies, but, she was the top suspect in the case. She was sentenced to 40 years in prison, however, Judge Graham Barr shared that her father killed her mother when she (Kathleen Folbigg) was just 18 months and had to live most of her life in foster care. Therefore, she had a troubled childhood.
Their children Sarah Kathleen, Caleb Gibson, Laura Elizabeth, and Patrick Allen died when they were just infants. Laura was the oldest living amongst them who grew up to 18 months before she died. Sarah died at 10 months old, Caleb at 19 days, and Patrick at eight months.
