Karim Benzema who had a year left on his contract, is set to move to Saudi Arabia after receiving a record offer from Al-Ittihad, according to Spanish football journalist, Guillem Balague. Benzema won five Championships Leagues and four La Liga titles with Madrid.

Saudi state-rin Al Ekhbariya television station reported on Sunday that Benzema will sign a two-year deal with Al-lttihad. Real boss, Carlo Ancelotti had said on Saturday that he expected the former French international to stay next season.

Karim Benzema had been with Real Madrid since 2009, joining when he was just 21 years old. During his time in Spain, he won a club record 25 trophies, including five European Cups, five league titles and five Club World Cups.
