Professional footballer, Rasmus Højlund currently plays for Serie A Club Atalanta. He signed with Serie A club Atalanta on August 27, 2022, in a deal worth a reported 17 million EUR. He scored his first goal for Atalanta on September 5, 2022, in a 2-0 away win over Monza.

However, there have been reports that he is currently in talks with English Premier League side, Manchester United. Along with the likes of Harry Kane, and Victor Osimhen, he is seriously being considered as the next signee for the team.

According to sources, he is set to be bought for around 50 million EUR, but United might usually bargain for a lower fee of 35 million EUR. Atalanta might probably refuse to negotiate.
The two teams might agree on United paying a lesser fee upfront with future add-ons. Another alternative could be to send one of their graduates on loan to get a small discount.
Højlund began his professional career at his hometown club Copenhagen in 2020. During the 2021-22 season, he made his debut in European competitions, contributing five goals in the UEFA Europa Conference League across qualification rounds and the tournament proper.
