Sergio Calderón (Actor) Obituary

Mexican actor, Sergio Calderón has died of natural causes at the age of 77. His family confirmed that his death occurred on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

He was known by many fans of Men In Black (1997) as the ‘head on a stick’ held by an extraterrestrial ‘illegal alien’ attempting to sneak across the U.S.-Mexico border. He also appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End as the Spanish pirate lord Capt. Villanueva.

Calderón also played the role of a revolutionary at the turn of the 20th century in Duck, You Sucker! (1971). He starred as the murderous Mexican chief of police in Under the Volcano in 1984 by John Huston.
