Born on March 15, 1989, in Oxford, England, Bateman attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he studied Drama and appeared as Claudio in a stage production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.

Since then, Bateman has appeared in several notable films, including “Murder on the Orient Express” (2017), “Vanity Fair” (2018), “Cold Pursuit” (2019), and the TV series “Beecham House” (2019).
