Christy Brinkley is an American model, entrepreneur, and actress. She is the daughter of Marjorie and Herbert Hudson.

Her family relocated to Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California, where her mother Marjorie met and married television writer Donald Brinkley. Christie and her brother Greg Brinkley were adopted by Donald.
During this time, the family lived in Malibu and then in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighbourhoods. Brinkley attended Paul Revere Junior High School and Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles from ninth to twelfth grades. She moved to Paris to study art after graduating in 1972.

Christy Brinkley rose to international prominence through her appearances in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, eventually appearing on three consecutive covers in 1979, 1980, and 1981. She was the face of CoverGirl for 25 years, has appeared on over 500 magazine covers, and has signed contracts with major fashion and non-fashion brands.
Christy Brinkley went on to become an actress, illustrator, television personality, photographer, writer, designer, and environmental and human rights activist. Magazines such as Allure and Men’s Health have named Brinkley one of the most beautiful women of all time, despite her career spanning more than three decades.
