Reinard Simonischek is the brother of the late Austrian actor, Peter Simonischek. There is very little to no information about him. Information about his age, profession, spouses, and children (if any), is currently unknown.

Born on August 6, 1946, Peter Simonischek grew up in Markt Hartmannsdorf, a municipality in the state of Styria, where his father was a dentist.

He was a celebrated stage performer and had been a regular ensemble member of the Burgtheatre since 1999. He often appeared at the Salzburg Festival and had played the title role in the play Jedermann so many times.
Since the 1980s, Simonischek also appeared in numerous films including Herrenjahre, The Lenz Papers, Love and Fear, Sukubus, Success, The Mountain, Krucke, and more.

In the early 2000s, he starred in several movies and tv shows including Geburg, Hierankl, Years of Love, Ludwig II, Ruby Red, Der Kaktus, October November, and more.
Some of his latest movies before his passing include Kursk, The Interpreter, Crescendo, Army of Thieves (2021), Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022), and Measures of Men (2023).
Simonischek was a recipient of the European Film Award for Best Actor. He was also nominated for London Critics Circle Film Awards – Best Actor and Toronto Film Critics Association Awards – Best Actor.
