Carrie Underwood does not have adopted children. However, she adopted a dog in Charlotte. She adopted a puppy from North Carolina’s Pawsitive Impact NC Dog Rescue and introduced it as “Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Nilla Fisher.”

With her sixth album, Cry Pretty (2018), Carrie Underwood became the only woman to top the Billboard 200 with four country albums and had the biggest week for any album by a woman in 2018.

Carrie Underwood is the female artist with the most number-one entries (16) on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Underwood was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2017, the highest honor one can receive from the state.

Carrie Underwood’s debut album, Some Hearts (2005), became the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history. In August 2020, Underwood hosted her own Apple Radio Show, entitled XO Radio.

Carrie Underwood’s fifth studio album, Storyteller (2015), made her the only country artist to have all first five studio albums reach either number one or two on the Billboard 200 chart.
