Alexander Ross currently drives the No. 7 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren in the IndyCar Series full-time. Rossi is best known for his rookie victory in the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 in 2016. He used to race for Andretti Autosport.
Rossi started his career in the United States before moving to Europe as a teenager to pursue a Formula One career. He won four races in the GP2 Series in 2013, one for EQ8 Caterham Racing and three more for Racing Engineering.
Rossi made his Formula One debut in 2015 for the renamed Manor Marussia F1 Team after serving as a test and development driver for Caterham F1 and Marussia F1, driving in five Grands Prix, including his home Grand Prix.

Following his F1 stint, Rossi redirected his focus to the United States and turned his attention to the IndyCar Series. In 2016, he joined the Andretti Autosport team and participated in his first full season of IndyCar racing.
That year, Rossi achieved a remarkable feat by winning the prestigious Indianapolis 500 in his rookie appearance, solidifying his position as a rising star in American motorsport.
