What did Edward James Olmos do?

In 1992, American actor, Edward James Olmos was accused by a teenage girl of sexual abuse. According to her, she was touched by the actor in a sexual manner while they watched and flirted together.

The Emmy award-winning actor paid the family a cash settlement of $150,000, however, he denied that the allegations were true. According to him, he only paid a settled amount of money to protect his son, Bodie, not him.

The Miami Vice actor was once again accused by another woman of sexually assaulting her in 1997 in a South Carolina hotel room. No further details were revealed about that.

Away from these allegations, the actor came out publicly to announce that he was facing severe health issues. He shared that he was diagnosed with throat cancer months ago, and had to undergo chemotherapy in December 2022.

“This would be the first time publicly I’ll be coming out and saying it, but I had throat cancer. I just finished getting through it. December 20 was my last radiation. The week before, I’d finished my chemo and for months and months I was on radiation and chemo as it attacked my throat,” he said.
