The former couple married at the Garrison Church in Millers Point, Sydney on 20 April 2000. Their son was born in 2006. Tony, who had studied political science in England, finished his law degree and was admitted as a solicitor at the urging of his wife.
In 2010, the family relocated to Essex to be closer to Tony’s family while he commuted to work in London on a daily basis. Tony later discovered from a mutual friend that his wife Caddick had actually travelled to Paris to meet with Anthony Koletti, her Sydney hairdresser and that she had paid for his international travel expenses to continue their affair.

Melissa Caddick cleaned out their Essex home, emptied their joint bank accounts, and moved back to Sydney with their son in January 2012 after being confronted by Tony. When she returned to Australia, she told family and friends that Tony was a controlling and abusive husband. The couple divorced in 2013.
Tony Caddick has never publicly spoken about his ex-wife and has previously requested privacy. Melissa, on the other hand, kept Tony’s surname after their divorce, even after remarrying Mr Koletti.
