Is Ed Ames still alive?

American actor and singer, Ed Ames has been reported dead by close sources. According to them, he died on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 95. Many people on social media have expressed their condolences to his family and loved ones.

“I just loved Ed Ames as a kid. When I was 10 and on a family trip, we were low on cash and I pitched a tantrum until my mother got my dad to wire money to take all of us kids to see his show in Las Vegas. My cup runneth over with looooooove. RIP Mingo,” Ellen Glasser wrote.

“Never forget that while we only have home-taped audio of Lennon/McCartney & Hendrix’s appearances on the Tonight Show as NBC recorded over the videotape, the network made sure to preserve this for posterity. Anyway, RIP Ed Ames,” Robert Nedelkoff.
