Lee Sang-su receives an average pay of at least $100, 000 as a table tennis player. He made his first impact in table tennis as a youth at the ITTF Pro Tour.

Lee Sang-su won two singles titles at the ITTF Pro Tour with the first one in 2010. Lee Sang-su represented South Korea at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the men’s team event after winning the Olympic trials held in February 2021.

Lee Sang-su reached the semifinals in the singles event at the 2017 World Championships. He won five more bronze medals from different categories in the World Championships, representing South Korea.

Lee Sang-su won the silver medal during the 2013 Paris World Championships for the mixed doubles category. Lee Sang-Su is a right-handed table tennis player who utilizes a Shakehand grip.

Some of the Asian championships he won include 2013 Busan: Gold medal for mixed doubles, 2013 Busan: Bronze medal for the team, 2015 Pattaya: Silver medal for doubles,  2015 Pattaya: Bronze medal for the team, and 2021 Doha: Gold medal for singles and team.
