American author and former hedge fund manager, Jim Cramer is known for being the host of Mad Money on CNBC and an anchor on Squawk on the Street.

He joined CNBC full-time to host the show Mad Money with Jim Cramer in 2005. The show is set to provide people engaging in do-it-yourself investing with “the knowledge and the tools that will empower you to be a better investor.”

Cramer is required to disclose any position he holds in a stock that is discussed on the show and is not allowed to trade any security he has spoken about on CNBC for five days following the broadcast.

He has also appeared on several tv shows including Today, Live with Regis and Kelly, Cheap Seats, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC Nightly News, and more.

Jim Cramer once shared that he does not trade individual stocks, however, he keeps half of his portfolio in cash. According to him, his personal investments include 50% in the cast and 40% in U.S. index funds.
