Before moving to Italy at the age of 16, Carboni began his career with Lans in his home in Argentina. In January 2020, he agreed to a deal with Inter Milan.
In April 2022, he penned a new deal with Inter. Carboni was borrowed from Cagliari on July 11, 2022. He was loaned out to Monza in Serie A on January 24, 2023, with a buyout option for Monza and a counter-option for Inter. His loan was for a period of time ending on June 30, 2024.
