Carboni, a Buenos Aires native, began his football career in 2013 by enrolling in Lans’ development program. Prior to that, he played futsal for the local team Club Lafuente in Lans.
The Guardian published a list of the top 60 talents born in 2005 in September 2022, and Carboni was one of them.
He was chosen for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina’s final roster in May of that year. In a 2-1 victory over Uzbekistan on his debut, on May 20, he scored his first goal.
