Taylor Kitsch is a Canadian actor and model. Kitsch was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, on April 8, 1981. He grew up in Vancouver and played ice hockey in high school. After graduating from high school, Kitsch moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. He studied acting with Sheila Grey and appeared in several television commercials.

Taylor Kitsch Young
Kitsch was born in Kelowna, British Columbia. His mother, Susan (Green), worked for the BC Liquor Board, while his father, Drew Kitsch, worked in construction. His parents separated when he was one year old, and he and his two older brothers, Brody and Daman, were raised by their mother in a mobile home park.
