Rebecca Augusta Miller, Lady Day-Lewis is an American filmmaker and novelist who is married to retired English actor Daniel Day-Lewis.

The couple met at a screening of The Crucible, a film adaptation of Rebecca Miller’s father’s play. Rebecca Miller married Day-Lewis on November 13, 1996.

They have two sons, Ronan and Cashel. Rebecca Miller is the stepmother to her husband Daniel Day-Lewis’s eldest son from his previous relationship with Isabelle Adjani, Gabriel Kane Day-Lewis.

Rebecca Augusta Miller, Lady Day-Lewis is best known for writing and directing the films Angela, Personal Velocity: Three Portraits, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, and Maggie’s Plan, as well as her novels The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and Jacob’s Folly.
