Shatta Wale claimed in a Facebook post on November 2, 2022, that Bulldog was involved in the murder of Kwaw Kese’s manager, Fennec Okyere.
Lawrence Asiamah Hanson alias Bulldog then sued Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, over the claims.
During one of the prior hearings in the case, an Accra High Court granted Shatta Wale’s lawyers’ request to settle the dispute outside of court.

Shatta Wale’s counsel returned to court after a month and notified the judge that the parties had reached an initial agreement on the terms of the settlement.
As a result, he asked the court for a month’s adjournment to allow the parties to draft the conditions of settlement and file it with the court for adoption as a consent judgment.
The case was adjourned by Judge Joseph Adu Agyemang Owusu in the High Court in Accra, after counsel for Bulldog validated information presented to the court that the parties had achieved settlement terms in principle.
According to starrnews.com, one of the stipulations of the settlement is a public apology to Bulldog.
