Magic Johnson the former basketball player turned entrepreneur has a significant business venture in the fast-food industry, particularly with Burger King.

Through his company Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE), he partnered with Bridgeman Foods to form a joint venture called Magic Johnson Food Group (MJFG). The purpose of MJFG was to acquire and operate Burger King restaurants in underserved urban communities.

It was reported that Magic Johnson and his business partners owned and operated over 30 Burger King locations across the United States. These restaurants were strategically located in areas where there was a need for economic development and job creation.

This investment of this has netted him $15 million and the number most definitely is rising. He opened these in Alabama, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta. Magic Johnson’s involvement in the fast-food industry goes beyond ownership. His focus has been on using his platform and resources to bring opportunities and economic growth to underserved communities.

In addition to the Burger King locations, Magic Johnson has been involved in various other business ventures, including partnerships with Starbucks, TGI Fridays, and movie theatre chains, all with the aim of revitalizing urban neighbourhoods and providing employment opportunities.
