Veteran actor, Ray Stevenson was not an American national. Even though he appeared in several American-lead and Hollywood movies, he was not born in the United States.

He was a Northern Irish citizen. He was born in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Born on May 25, 1964, Ray Stevenson started his career in 1998 when he starred in the film The Theory of Flight. He played the role of a gigolo hired to help Helena Bonham Carter’s character lose her virginity.

Stevenson died in Italy on Sunday, May 21, 2023, while filming Cassino In Ischia. No cause of death was revealed. He was 58 years old.

“Ray Stevenson was a fellow Brit and an absolute gent. Actors aren’t always friendly or approachable while they’re shooting but Ray always had time to chat and never failed to be gracious and kind. He treated me and my wife Leah at the premier like we were family. I’m gutted,” Film critic, Gary Whitta wrote.
He got his debut leading role in the Scottish horror picture, Outpost in 2008. He also appeared in Punisher: War Zone as Frank Castle/The Punisher, that same year.
