Veteran actor, Ray Stevenson was not legally married when he was reported dead. However, he had a long-time partner named Elisabeth Caraccia. They had been dating for 18 years and had two children together; Sebastiano Derek Stevenson and Leonardo George Stevenson.

He was once married to actress, Ruth Gemmell. They married for 8 years; from 1997 to 2005. According to sources, they met on the set of Band of Gold in 1995 and played a married couple in Peak Practice in 1997.

Born on May 25, 1964, Ray Stevenson started his career in 1998 when he starred in the film The Theory of Flight. He played the role of a gigolo hired to help Helena Bonham Carter’s character lose her virginity.

He bagged his first leading role in the Scottish horror picture, Outpost in 2008. He also appeared in Punisher: War Zone as Frank Castle/The Punisher, that same year.

Stevenson died in Italy on Sunday, May 21, 2023, while filming Cassino In Ischia. No cause of death was revealed. The RRR actor was 58 years old.
