Yadira Silva is Cuban-Mexican table tennis player who has achieved a career high of world number 211, representing both Cuba and Mexico.
Born on December 24, 1985, in Cuba, Silva has played in the Olympics several times, winning medals.

In 2002 and 2003, she won four gold medals at the Cuban National Games and silver medal at the Junior Latin American Championships respectively.

In 2008, Silva represented Mexico at the Summer Olympics. In 2010, she won the Latin American Championship and earned a medal at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and the Latin American Cup. In the same year, she won the Tabasco’s State Sports Award.
Silva also appeared in the 2012 World Team Championships, and as a result, Mexico was able to reach the 56th, 59th and 66th place.
Silva has played many singles, women’s and mixed doubles, employing the offensive playing style.
