Michael Block Children: Meet Dylan and Ethan Block

Michael Block is a PGA pro who primarily works as a coach and instructor at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. Michael Block and his wife Val have two sons Dylan and Ethan.

Michael Block spends his time working daily with both of his boys.  “And it’s the best thing in the world,” he said. And something he wouldn’t be able to do if he were a tour pro.

Dylan, 18, and Ethan, 16, are both elite juniors. Dylan, actually, is playing in the U.S. Open sectionals at Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles on June 5 2023, alongside his dad. Both could qualify for the U.S. Open.

Dylan is also his father’s caddie. Dylan “is a stick,” as his father describes him. He had never caddied, though he had been badgering his father to allow him to do so for a couple of years.

“He had been begging me since the day he turned 11,” Block said. “At age 12, he was originally going to do it. We did a test at the club once, and I said, ‘Buddy you need one more year.’ ”

Over the course of his career, Michael Block has competed in 24 PGA Tour events.    He was named the 2022 PGA Professional Player of the Year, which he described as a huge honour after winning it.
