French director, Romain Gavras reportedly has an estimated net worth of around $5 million. Considering that he has been in the industry for quite a long time, it is understandable that he has been able to rake in such a great amount of wealth over the years.

Born on July 4, 1981, Romain Gavras is the son of popular French entertainment industry players; Costa Gavras and Michele Ray. He has two other siblings named Julie Gavras and Alexandre Gavras.

He started his career in 1995 when he co-founded the film collective Kourtrajme with Kim Chapiron and Toumani Sangare. He is also known for directing several popular music videos including Bad Girls by M.I.A, No Church in the Wild by Kanye West, Stress and Born Free by M.I.A.

Gavras produced and directed his debut film in 2001, a short film titled The Funk Hunt. In 2002, he directed two other short films, La Barbichette and Easy Pizza Riderz.
Gavras bagged three award nominations for his 2010 movie Our Day Will Come (Notre jour viendra) – CPH PIX: New Talent Grand Pix, SXSW Film Festival Audience Award, Off Camera International Festival of Independent Cinema: Krakow Film Award.
