Lawrence Ati Zigi of the Black Stars has been crowned the best goalkeeper in the Swiss Super League for his outstanding performances this season.

Ati Zigi’s honor stems from the fact that he has saved 103 of the 146 shots he has faced this season in the Swiss Super League.
Despite only three clean sheets, the St. Gallen shot-stopper has had an amazing season in the Swiss Super League.
Ati Zigi has shown his efficiency at saving penalties, stopping two of the 10 he faced this season.

Despite being leaky in the back, he is averaging 3.5 saves per game, indicating his value to the team.
The Black Stars’ first-choice goalkeeper was also named the Best Player in the Swiss League for the first round.
Ati Zigi, who was born on November 29, 1996, has represented Ghana at the under-17 and under-20 levels.
He has attended two African Cup of Nations (2019 and 2021) but has not played in either.
In a friendly against Iceland in June 2018, he made his Ghana national team debut.
He was Ghana’s starting goalkeeper in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
