American actor, Clark Johnson played the role of David Jefferson in Night Heat which aired from 1085 to 1988. It was his first tv show in his acting career.

Born on September 10, 1954, Clark Johnson started his career in the movie industry while doing special effects on The Dead Zone by David Cronenberg.
He started acting in 1981 when he appeared in feature films like Killing ’em Softly, Colors, Wild Thing, Adventures in Babysitting, Nowhere to Hide, and more. He also appeared in a few tv shows during that period. He starred in The Littlest Hobo, Hot Shots, The Women of Brewster Place, and more.

Johnson became part of the original cast of the tv series, Homicide: Life on the Street in 1993, playing the role of Detective Meldrick Lewis for all seven seasons and the reunion movie. He also directed several episodes of the show.
He also starred in the 2013 Amazon series Alpha House as Sen, Robert Bettencourt. He also directed the season finale for the show’s first season and spent the summer of 2013 filming season two.
