What movies did Renate Krößner play in?

German actress, Renate Krößner starred in several movies and tv shows before the time of her death. Some of these include Solo Sunny, Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall, Feuer unter Deck, Way Home Summer in Alsace, Streetchild, Cyankali, Until Death Do Us Part, Angst, Anderst Schon, etc.

She started her career in the mid-60s when she appeared in her first film dubbed Tiefe Furchen in 1965. Her breakthrough internationally was in the movie Bis daß de Tod euch scheidet which was released in 1979. She played the role of a woman’s best friend in a film about violence in a young marriage

Krößner became extremely famous for her role as Sunny in Solo Sunny, released in 1980. She won several awards for this film. Some of these awards include the Silver Bear for Best Actress. She was a member of the jury at the 41st Berlin International Film Festival.

She died at age 75 on May 25, 2020, after suffering from a short illness.
