Who does Nicholas Hoult play in Avengers?

English actor, Nicholas Hoult was not in Avengers per se, however, he played the role of Henry “Hank” McCoy/ Beast in the X-Men film series.

Born on December 7, 1989, he showed off his acting potential when he was just three years old, during a performance of a play that also featured his brother.

He showed off his talent very well and gained his next theatre production The Caucasian Chalk Circle. He landed his debut feature film when he was just 5 years old, with the drama Intimate Relations.

Hoult went on to star in several films and television shows as a child actor. Some of these included Casualty, Silent Witness, The Bill, Judge John Deed, Doctors, About a Boy, and more. About a Boy was one of the most successful, raking in over $130 million worldwide. He was praised for his role as David Thomas.

In 2005, he also starred in Wah-Wah and made his Hollywood debut the same year in the movie The Weather Man. Unfortunately, both films did not perform so well at the box office.

Hoult was a student attending Sixth Form College Farnborough when he was cast in the lead role of the tv drama series, Skins in 2006. The series won the BAFTA Philip Audience Award and Hoult was also nominated for the Golden Nymph Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Up until 2009, he made a few appearances in movies and tv shows including Wallander, A Single Man, and more. He bagged one of his most popular roles as Nux in the action film Mad Max: Fury Road. 

By far his most popular role, Hoult was cast by Marvel Cinematic Universe to play the role of Hank McCoy/Beast in the X-Men film series. He has also starred in several movies and tv shows including Rebel in the Rye, Newness, Sand Castle, The Current War, Deadpool 2, The Favorite, Tolkien, The Menu, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Watership Down, Crossing Swords, The Great, and more.
