Who is Saint Obi? – Saint Obi, 57, a veteran Nollywood actor whose real name is Obinna Nwafor, died on May 7, 2023, in Jos, Plateau State. According to several reports, Obi passed away following several months of hospital visits for treatment of an undisclosed ailment.

Saint Obi, who was born on November 16, 1965, studied Theatre Arts at the University of Jos and debuted as an actor in a Peugeot television commercial in 1996.
Obi would be remembered for the films he produced, notably “Take Me to Maama,” a 2001 film in which he portrayed Jerry alongside talented actors such as Ebi Sam, Late Rachel Oniga, Nse Abel, and Enebeli Elebuwa.
