What caused Saint Obi’s death? – Saint Obi, an Imo State-born veteran Nollywood actor, film producer, director, and businessman, has died. After a protracted illness, the acclaimed actor died on May 7, 2023, at the age of 57. But, the precise ailment that took his life has yet to be revealed.

According to numerous internet articles, the notice of his death was delayed for around a week due to disagreements among his siblings.
His remains have been deposited at the mortuary of Jos University Teaching Hospital, or JUTH.
Saint Obi was a prominent Nigerian actor, film producer, film director, and businessman who was born on November 16, 1965.

He appeared in over 60 films and produced his first, Take Me to Maama, in 2001, in which he played Jerry opposite Ebi Sam, Rachel Oniga, Nse Abel, and Enebeli Elebuwa.
Born Obinna Nwafor, to parents Millicent Nwafor and Mazi Melford Nwafor, Saint Obi studied Theatre Arts at the University of Jos and began acting in 1996 in a Peugeot television commercial.
He will be best remembered for his roles in Candle Light, Sakobi, Goodbye Tomorrow, Heart of Gold, Festival of Fire, Executive Crime, and Last Party.
He retired from acting years ago in order to concentrate on other business ventures. He was the Founder and CEO of Agwhyte International Limited, a production, talent, brand management, and public relations firm based in Nigeria and the United States of America.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Saint-Nwafor and three children.
