William Dafoe Children: Meet his son Jack Dafoe

Willem Dafoe is a famous American actor who has been active in the entertainment industry for several decades. He is the father of Jack Dafoe.

Willem and his partner at the time, Elizabeth LeCompte, welcomed their Jack Defoe into the world in 1982. The couple began dating in 1977 and separated in 2004.

Despite his father’s illustrious on-screen career, Jack chose not to be in the spotlight, instead working in public policy and as an environmentalist.

In the video below, Jack is listed as a Senior Policy and Research Associate and the host of the New York City Apollo Alliance, an organisation that promotes clean and sustainable living.

In the video, he discusses how the Apollo Alliance is attempting to “plan for the future of America” and his role in that plan in terms of creating a better environment and a better world.

 

Willem Dafoe rose to prominence for his portrayal of the supervillain Norman Osborn / Green Goblin in Spider-Man (2002), a role he reprised in the sequels Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

Willem Dafoe has won numerous awards, including the Volpi Cup for Best Actor, and has been nominated for four Academy Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a British Academy Film Award.
