Holloway was supposed to travel home from the Caribbean island on May 30, 2005, but she did not show up.

Her classmates last saw her outside of Carlos’n Charlie’s, an Oranjestad restaurant and nightclub.

She was in a car with Joran van der Sloot, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, and other locals. When questioned, the three guys stated that they dropped Holloway off at her hotel and denied knowing what happened to her.

Authorities detained Van der Sloot twice on suspicion of being involved in her disappearance, while the Kalpoes were arrested three times each. Due to a lack of evidence, the three suspects were each freed without being charged.

Did they find Natalee Holloway’s body?

Holloway’s remains/body is yet to be discovered.

Holloway was born on October 21, 1986, went missing on May 30, 2005, and was pronounced deceased on January 12, 2012.

Hollway’s father, Dave Holloway, petitioned the Alabama courts in June 2011 (six years after Natalee’s disappearance) to have his daughter declared legally dead.

On September 23, 2011, Probate Judge Alan King found that Dave Holloway had satisfied the standards for a legal presumption of death.

A second hearing was held on January 12, 2012, after which Judge King signed the order declaring Natalee Holloway dead.
