Are Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers a couple?

Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers are both comedians and writers who have worked together on various projects.

They met at NYU, during a Halloween party after discovering that they knew all the words to 2010 Nicki Minaj’s bonus track, “Super Bass,” and that rapport has snowballed ever since into a decade-long storied friendship for the ages.

Their friendship extends to their professional endeavours as well. Since 2016, Matt and Bowen have co-hosted the podcast “Las Culturistas,” a weekly comedy podcast in which Yang “unapologetically expresses his personality, story, and himself by sharing his experiences as a member of the LGBTQ community.”

In 2022, the popular podcast even celebrated its 300th episode. Yang and Rogers also co-starred in the funny, breezy queer rom-com Fire Island in 2022, which is a gay retelling of the classic Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of a queer Asian-American.

While they are very close friends and collaborators, there is no publicly available information to suggest that they are a romantic couple.
