A New York jury shared on Tuesday (May 9, 2023) that “Trump subjected Carroll to sexual contact without consent by the use of force and that it was for the purpose of sexual gratification.”

Trump is now legally branded as a sexual predator, however, his case is termed civil not criminal, therefore, he will only face financial sanctions and punishment.

The incident happened at a department store in 1996, where Trump asked Carroll to help him buy lingerie. One thing led to the other and Carroll was forced to go to the changing room with the billionaire, who eventually assaulted her sexually.

He immediately shut the door and shoved me up against the wall. He shoved me so hard my head banged. I was extremely confused. He leaned down and pulled down my thighs. I was pushing him back. It was quite clear I didn’t want anything else to happen,” Carroll described what happened back then.

Carroll was encouraged by a conservative lawyer, George Conway to sue Trump even several years after the incident.

God bless E. Jean Carroll and congratulations to Roberta Kaplan (Carroll’s attorney) and her team for a job well done,” Conway tweeted after the case was concluded.
