Robert De Niro Ex-Wife: Meet Grace Hightower

Grace Hightower is the ex-wife of Robert De Niro a legendary American actor, producer, and director.

Grace Hightower met and began dating Robert De Niro in 1987 while working at Mr Chow, an upscale London Chinese restaurant and celebrity hangout.

In 1997, Grace Hightower and De Niro married. She gave birth to the couple’s first child in 1998. In 1999, De Niro filed for divorce, and in 2001, she sued Hightower for custody of their son.

However, the couple worked out their differences, and by 2004, the divorce was annulled and they renewed their vows. The couple had their second child via surrogate in 2011. The couple divorced in November 2018.

Grace Hightower De Niro is an actress, singer, and philanthropist. As a philanthropist, Hightower founded Grace Hightower & Coffees of Rwanda in 2013 to improve Rwandan livelihoods through the international marketing of their products.

She serves on the boards of the New York Women’s Foundation and the New York Fund for Public Schools, as well as the Women’s Heart Health Advisory Council of Ronald Perelman and the International Women’s Coffee Alliance.

Several organisations, including the American Cancer Society of New York City, have recognised Hightower for her contributions.
