Don January is an American professional golfer who won the PGA Championship in 1967.

Don January and his wife Patricia had 3 children. Son Tim January, daughter Cherie DePuy and another son Richard January.
Don January died on Sunday, died on May 7, 2023, at the age of 93, according to the PGA Tour. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Before turning pro, Don January won four consecutive NCAA Division I championships (1949-52).

On the PGA Tour, he won 10 times and finished second 17 times, and at the age of 47, he won the Vardon Trophy for lowest scoring average.
He was a member of the United States Ryder Cup teams in 1965 and 1977.
Don January won his only major at Columbine Country Club in Denver, shooting a 7-under 281 in the tournament. In an 18-hole playoff, he shot 69 to beat Don Massengale by two shots.
January won 22 PGA Tour Champions events after turning 50 from 1980 to 1987.
