Bryn Terfel Wife: Who is Hannah Stone?

 

Hannah Stone is a professional Welsh harpist and the wife of Bryn Terfel a world-renowned Welsh bass-baritone opera singer.

The couple married on 26 July 2019 at Caersalem Newydd Baptist Church in the bride’s home city of Swansea. They have a daughter together.

Hannah Stone has performed internationally and won numerous awards since 2007. Hannah Stone began performing when she was eight years old.

She was 15 when she played for The Queen on Her Majesty’s Jubilee Tour of Wales in 2002, and she has since performed for the Royal Family on several occasions.

Stone won third place at the International Harp Competition in Caernarfon in 2010 and second place at the Franz Joseph Reinl Competition in Vienna.

In 2010, she was also named principal harpist of the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra. Stone was named the Prince of Wales’ Official Harpist in June 2011.

Hannah Stone performed for delegates including US President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and UK Prime Minister David Cameron at the NATO Conference Dinner in Cardiff Castle in 2014.
