Eddie Olczyk is an American former center who played in the National Hockey League for 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. During his trophy-laden career, he earned US $6,523,440 (US $12,998,587 in today’s dollars), ranking #1522 in NHL / hockey career earnings.

Olczyk is currently a television analyst with the Seattle Kraken’s broadcast crew. His annual salary, however, is yet to be released.
Olczyk, who was born on August 16, 1966, won the Stanley Cup with the Rangers in 1994.

From June 2003 to December 2005, Olczyk was also the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He worked as a color commentator for the NHL on NBC until 2021, and he presently commentates on TNT and Seattle Kraken games on Root Sports Northwest. He is also a horse racing handicapper and analyst for NBC’s horse racing coverage.
He played 1,031 NHL games in his career, scoring 342 goals and assisting on 452 assists for a total of 794 points.
On February 22, 2013, he was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame.
