Maria has been in the news for an alleged affair with Omega Fire Ministries International’s general overseer, Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
However, because their names were so similar, she mistook their identities.
She ended up responding to a tweet from Apostle Selman, mistaking it for one from Apostle Johnson Suleman.

In an interview with media personality Chude, Maria explained that she mistakenly tagged Apostle Joshua Selman; she didn’t realize they were both two different people, and their names almost sounded the same.
Maria went on to say that she was ashamed of her actions and prayed to God for forgiveness.
