Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III of Great Britain, is commonly believed to have had 15 children. However, this number is actually a bit misleading.

While Queen Charlotte did give birth to 15 children, only 13 of them survived infancy. Of those 13, 12 were born to full term, while one was born prematurely and died shortly after birth. The 15th child was stillborn.
Queen Charlotte gave birth to her first child, a son named George, in 1762, just a year after her marriage to King George III. Over the next 20 years, she went on to give birth to 12 more children, including six sons and six daughters.

While this may seem like a lot of children, it was not uncommon for royal families of the time to have large families, as having many children was seen as a sign of strength and prosperity.
While Queen Charlotte did have a number of successful pregnancies, her experiences were not without their difficulties.
Despite these challenges, Queen Charlotte was a devoted mother and took an active interest in the upbringing of her children. Her children included two future British monarchs, George IV and William IV, as well as Charlotte, Princess Royal, Queen of Württemberg, and Prince Ernest Augustus, King of Hanover.
