Petr Klima, a Stanley Cup champion and Czech forward, died on May 4, 2023, at the age of 58.

Kilma’s death was announced by both HC Litvinov, where he began his career in the 1981-82 season, and Kadan, where he previously worked as general manager.
Litvinov described the news as causing “great pain in the heart.” There was no mention of a cause of death.
Klima fled communist Czechoslovakia in 1985, four years before the Iron Curtain fell.
The right winger scored 313 regular-season goals and added 260 assists in 786 NHL games over 13 seasons. In 95 playoff games, he scored 28 times and assisted 24 times.
