Ukrainian singer, Julia Sanina was not an X Factor contestant, however, she became one of the four judges on the seventh series of The X Factor Ukraine.

She graduated from the Music School of Jazz and Variety Art in Ukraine in 2005. She furthered her education at the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, bagging a master’s degree in folklore studies.

Sanina was a vocalist in a band called Sister Siren from 2006 to 2008. In September 2011, she created a music duo with producer Valeriy dubbed Val & Sanina. The name was later changed to The Hardkiss after several improvements were done.

She is set to present the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 along with three other people; Alesha Dixon, Hannah Waddingham, and Graham Norton who will make the final appearance.
The event will take place from May 9 to May 13, 2023.
“Well, we were expecting the synergy of two cultures and I’m so happy to see everything Liverpool has done for Ukrainians. I know that there will be some Ukrainian refugees during the show, they got tickets and there will be a lot of Ukraine in the Eurovision and that really matters for us,” she said.
