No exact reason has been disclosed as the cause of Christine and Kevin Costner’s split. However, according to his wife, Christine, “irreconcilable differences” are the reason behind the separation.

Kevin Costner and his second wife Christine Baumgartner of over 18 years earlier announced they are going their separate ways.

As per reports from TMZ, Ms. Baumgartner and Costner are both seeking joint custody of their children. The actor was previously married to Cindy Silva from 1978 to 1994.1

Kevin Costner rose to prominence with his starring roles in The Untouchables and No Way Out (1987) and has starred in Fandango, American Flyers, and Silverado among many others.

In 1995, Kevin Costner starred in and co-produced Waterworld. He made his second directorial feature, The Postman, which was released in 1997.

For his role as John Dutton on the Paramount Network original drama series Yellowstone, Kevin Costner received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and a Golden Globe award.
